Today was basically an adventure, but I wouldn't say it wasn't a good kind of adventure. I did get to spend time with my momma, which is always nice, but it was just like Black Friday all over again. Who knew two days before Christmas would be chaos... Oh wait, I did. AND I went willingly, this is definitely unusual. We spent the day shopping, and finding last minute gifts.
Then we went to the movie, "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader". Ah yes, how I LOVE C.S. Lewis and his novels. These books make me happy, not only are they a great adventure, but they are a type and shadow of Jesus Christ. From a very atheist life, to Christianity, who knew. He is amazing! One of my favorite quotes from the movie (which is also a direct quote from the book),
"Are - are you there too, Sir?" said Edmund.
"I am," said Aslan. "But there I have another name. You must learn to know me by that name. This was the very reason why you were brought to Narnia, that by knowing me here for a little, you may know me better there."
How true is that quote. We need to learn of our Savior, here on earth. So that we will know Him better when die and meet Him in the next life. He is our Savior, and He knows us. It is US who must come to know our Savior.
