So yesterday, I was at my friend's homecoming. He served his mission in Korea. He was talking about a certain scripture talking about how Contention is of the devil.
Andrew said that in Korean contention actually means fighting. He said what he liked about English was the interpretation of the word Contention. As Andrew pointed out, Contention has content in it. Being content is of the devil. The Lord has asked us to continue to press forward and keep growing and learning. If we are content with where we are in the gospel, then we are of the devil.
We need to always move forward and focus on eternity. Thanks Andrew, thanks for reminding us to not be content, but to move forward and become like our Heavenly Father
