Tonight was a rather uneventful night, so I decided I was going to watch something from the Doctrine and Covenants DVD. On the 3rd video, it has Joseph Smith: The Prophet of the Restoration, Legacy, and a few other short videos. I decided I was going to watch the Joseph Smith movie.
Oh has my testimony been strengthened again! I cry when I feel the Spirit, and I was crying the whole time. My roommate probably thought I was weird. Oh well, she always thinks I'm weird, so there is nothing new there.
All I have to say is I know Joseph Smith was and is a prophet. He saw God the Father, and His son, Jesus Christ. He translated the Book of Mormon. He restored the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He lived great, and he died great. With his death, he sealed his testimony. What more could you ask for? Someone who is willing to die for what they believe in, because of the truth it contains. He gave his life as a testimony, which strengthens mine. Not only that, but I have felt the whisperings of the Spirit tell me, this is true. It is very true.
