One day down, four more to go. Hooray!
Today was a pretty good day. I made oreo truffles for my ward party tonight. They turned out good and were the first dessert to be eaten and gone. They never fail!
Family Home Evening/Ward Party was actually fun today. I think that was the funnest ward activity I've been to all of my college career. It brought out my inner child. And I finally got to laugh. Really laugh. It was great.
What did we do, you might ask? We ate Costa Vida for dinner. Yum! But... Not quite as good as Cafe Rio. There were markers and huge sheets of paper all over the tables so you could color. They had Rockband... Not the Beatles, (That would have been GREAT!) but it was fun just the same. THEN the best thing ever. We play parachute games. Like the ones we use to play in elementary school. Yes, we played those games it was so much fun! Who knew a bunch of college students could have fun like that, haha actually, I did. Everyone loves to be a child again. And this, just takes the cake.
A big "hip-hip hooray!" to Oreo Truffles! Nice Job Cait! Glad you had fun at your FHE. Maybe we should try parachute games for FHE, then the kids would have a reason for running and jumping around. Hmmm.
