I turned in my game today. Actually, we didn't turn it in, it was just game day and we played our games with people in our class. It was a lot of fun. My teacher came over to my game and said, "Oh that's nice." That is when the three other people told my teacher how long it took me. I wasn't going to say anything to her, but they did it for me. She kind of gave me this horrified expression, then I explained to her it was only because it was for a project, I don't think I would have spent that much time on a game for my students. And I felt bad because the names of the states and capitals and the outlines only took me an hour, and I felt bad. I figured I needed to put more work into it. She said, that makes sense and thanked me for my hard work. Then she gave me 77/75 to make up for my hard work. It wasn't a lot of extra credit, but if she liked it, that's okay. She also liked my idea of states and capitals. She mentioned a lot of kids don't know capitals, and not very many states. She said it was a good idea.
Then I came home and... I just slept. I am so exhausted. I'm tired now, and I had an hour and a half nap. I also had an assignment due for my online class. It was due at 10 pm, I got it done at 9. Cutting it close again, oh well. I did good work on it.
I went shooting with my roommates and her boyfriend, and a bunch of other people. It was fun. We built a fire, put in small propane tanks in the fire then shot them. They exploded (once we shot them), and it was epic. It was fun to get out the house and socialize with people, since I'm such a homebody. Tonight was also a movie night at a friend's house, but I had my assignment to finish, so I didn't go. Oh well.
Last night we went to In-N-Out Burger just before we went to the temple. In-N-Out is definitely not as good as Five Guys. haha I posted that as my Facebook status and had a lot of feedback from people who agreed, and disagreed with me. It was funny to hear people's responses. THE TEMPLE WAS AMAZING!
It always reminds me of those Thursday mornings my Senior year with Dad. That was a great year, and I will always remember that. Anyway, we were sitting in the chapel waiting for our turn to go do confirmations and baptisms, so we were singing. There was no accompaniment, so we were pretty off-key. It was funny. Then it was just me and two other boys waiting for our turn. We were talking and one of the boys said, "I love to sing, but with this group it was hard because they would always start the song off-key. Until you started singing, then it made everything better." It was the nicest thing anyone has said to me. I laughed. Then we did baptisms, and that was awesome. I have done baptisms in the Cardston, Alberta, Bountiful, Manti, and now St. George temples. I have been through the Draper, Oquirrh Mountain, Nauvoo, and Bountiful temples. I can't wait until I can for real go inside someday. What a great day that will be.
They just opened the In-N-Out in Centerville. We haven't yet been, but will have to try it out. Then again, I have never been to Five Guys either, so I will be unable to say which is better. Hmmm.
