Oops! Today just snuck on past me. Okay, I lied. It was the longest day of my life. Seriously. I had a group math project that I had to do at 6. We started finishing up our project. Thank goodness. Anyway, I was talking to one of the girls in my group and we were both talking how today has just flown on by, yet it was the longest day of our lives. I wouldn't believe that it had been just this morning that I had seen this friend in my 8 o'clock math class. Slowest. Day. Yet.
So... Yes, procrastination is my friend. I've had all semester to do this project, and I started last Friday. It was all pretty easy and not taking much time... Until I decided I was going to be all cute and use the Circut to make the title of my game on each individual 3x5 card. Yep. I have a total of 100 3x5 cards, so I spent 4 hours in the productions center cutting out letters. I had 1,500 letters to glue onto these cards. I started at 4:30, worked until my math meeting at 6. Got home from that at 6:30. Worked until FHE at 7. Got home from that at 9, and finished at 11:30. I actually have half of the cards to finish because I couldn't get them all cut out today. That's what tomorrow is for. Hopefully I can get them all done before 12:30... Okay, not hopefully. I HAVE to get them done by 12:30 tomorrow so that they can be lamenated. Wish me luck! (I'll post pictures tomorrow!)
FHE tonight was pretty fun. We had a bonfire! Oh fire. How I love you. We made s'mores ("And we can make delicious hot shmoes." "They're s'mores Buzz."), roasted Starbursts, which is actually pretty good, and just talked and laughed. It was a lot of fun. I even sang Eneey Meeny. I'm just too cool.
I finally saw "How to Train your Dragon" I've watched the beginning twice now, and every time I get to the same spot, something comes up. So, while I was glueing on my letters, I put the movie into my laptop and just watched the movie. It was actually pretty good. It was really quick, before I knew it, it was over. Interesting. I guess it was better than I thought because I was entertained the whole time, which made the movie not drag on by.
I went to lunch with Dad today. It was fun to just talk to him and tell him stories. I miss being home. I love being down here, but there is definitely nothing like home. I'm so sad that I won't be able to see him when he comes back through this Friday. I promised friends I'd visit them in Ephraim. So that's what I'm doing this weekend. Maybe that's why Monday just dragged on... I'm very excited to go to Ephraim. People there actually miss me! I can't wait to see them.
Well, it's late. I'm tired. Goodnight world.
